I had watched the TV series many years after reading the first book and it reinvigorated an interest in the series. I have to say I love the TV series and like the books.
This one has Phryne fly a plane, work out the death of an industrialist who disagreed with most of his family; solve a kidnapping and sleep with at least one beautiful man.
She's so irrepressable and so much fun and I can now hear her thanks to the series. I found the book a little muddled and flitting everywhere but otherwise it was a fun read. Nothing too deep, brain candy.
