A two-in-one linked by some common characters. The first story is where CEO Griffin Vaughn is stranded with his assistant Sophie LaRue due to a snowstorm. Their car is on the bottom of the river and the house they're visiting is undergoing renovations. They have to try to survive. Their problems are excaberated when they discover that there's someone trying to kill them. They also have to deal with their feeling for each other. Miguel Acevedo is a forensic investigator and science is his life, when the psychic Emma Richardson enters his life he's sceptical. However he's also attracted and he feels a need to keep her safe. His world won't ever be the same. Both the stories are thrillers and they're quite interesting.
