Night Falls Darkly: A Novel of the Shadow Guard
This is the story of Elena, a woman who doesn't remember her past but her present involves trying to become a doctor, which in Victorian London isn't an easy task. however her mysterious benefactor, Archer, Lord Black, has money to support her.
He returns to London and investigates a series of murders, and during it we meet some of the both dead and live victims through Elena.
It's an interesting read, sometimes didn't quite work but overall I found it quite interesting.
