Allie is a summoner, not a very successful one. A woman who has managed to get herself out of a bad marriage, not before having to deal with the death of her brother and the death of her husband. She is visiting England and trying to find her place in the world. Then she meets with Dante and a lot of her assumptions are changed.
It's fun sometimes and the two characters spark off each other well. However I'm not sure that she won't slap him at some stage for being a bit stupid about her. If you're a fan of Katie MacAlister this will amuse, however it's pretty predictable.
