Vintage Stuff
I suppose for someone from the mileu it's quite funny but I found it a bit forced almost like the author had decided on a list of things he was going to poke fun at and was ticking them off one by one.
The Story revolves around Peregrine Clyde-Browne who takes everything literally, follows orders to the absolute letter and gets sent to the only school that will take him (apart from the local comprehensive where his mother doesn't want him to go). Hi-jinks ensue when he becomes embroiled in a plot involving rival schoolteachers.
