This is such a typical 80's romance, the male character is such an alpha and the female character is pretty compliant. It was almost annoying, I did want to shake Mallory Thane occasionally for submitting but there were moments where she actually showed a bit of backbone. Mallory is accused and acquitted of having murdered Sabin Wyatt's step-brother, Sabin is very attracted to her and convinced that she was responsible for his death, one way or another. He gets her to Sedikhan, what appears to be a north African Arabic desert country, by promising her a part in a movie and then demands that she have sex with him Overall it's readable but not great. It's seriously of it's time and I honestly think that that time is past.
